DIY Lettering Design

About a month ago (right after the diabetes/dead computer fiasco), a cute reader asked if I'd design some capital letters to compliment my Modern Letter Applique Design.


It took me a few days this week to pull it all together, but here's peek into how I design my letters.

A Commission from Santa

And I'm back.  We've been SO busy framing our house. I'll share details later this week.  I thought I'd kick off the handmade gift parade with a special commission I received from Santa.  Dolly received a cute little Calico Critters raccoon family that her mama had as a child.  This little family needed a home...and Santa asked me to make it.

Hedwig Costume

For the first time, we're having a family theme for Halloween costumes.  My older children are all dressing up as their favorite Hogwarts attendees, Harry, Hermoine, and Ron, which left Dolly to dress up as something.  I ran across this darling costume:

and thought it would make a great Hedwig costume.  I shared a preview of my version on my blog's facebook page...and here is the final result.

Trick or Treat Bags + mini tutorial
