At least we're not mossy.

You could call us rolling stones I suppose.  Remember when we moved last September?  Um, yeah.  We're doing it again.  I've alluded to the extra stress in my life.  This is why.  Mr. Pickup was offered the chance to transfer to an office closer to our families, and we had to take the opportunity.
So, we de-cluttered, cleaned like crazy, and put our house on the market last month.  We were lucky enough to sell our house in exactly one week...after showing it 12 times.  Miracles have occurred.  Fast forward to this week, and we're moving again.  We've found a teeny little house (envision our family and one bathroom) to rent while we ponder our next move in real estate.   Goodbye Treasure Valley.

We're happy to be heading back to country life, and even more glad to be closer to our families.  Hello Magic Valley.

So, please understand if I am a bit absent as far as comments or emails go for the next couple weeks.  I've still been sewing up until the last minute, so I've got some projects to show off in the meantime.  I may even post on how I kept our house clean with all those showings!

Thank you for reading, thanks for supporting my friends on the sidebar there, and thanks for all your wonderful comments.  After resting today, we'll be back to packing up tomorrow.  Here comes our next adventure.  I hope you stay tuned!

Wow, you sold that beautiful house fast! Good for you. Being close to family is worth the square footage you will be giving up. Congratulations Chris, I just know the move will be worth it!

Good luck with everything! I hate moving but will get to do it in two weeks anyway. No matter how much cleaning or decluttering I do (yes, I could do better) ahead of time, I still deal with the horrible headache and exhaustion during the actual move. But sometimes the destination of the new home helps you get through the difficult task of moving.

it's good to see that we are not the only ones who pack up a little more often than others. I am in the un-boxing and sorting again stage. I sooo wish the sewing room was done!
