With moving impending, a small project was in order. I decided to try her Mermaiden.
This little doll is a fun combination of machine and hand sewing. She was a great use for some of my many scrap fabrics. Hilary recommends using corduroy or velvet for the hair. I found a fun piece of green corduroy, and added orange stitching as designed. Other fun details included:
Isn't she fun? I am sorely tempted to keep her, then send her onto her final home.

She turned out lovely , you are very brave to embark on a new project with everything that is going on in your household, but sometimes stitching brings sanity. I love her cord locks so much!!
