Friday? Finally!

This has been a tricky week. I have a project I've been trying to complete that's been much more difficult than I anticipated...so my to do list is virtually unchanged from when I started Monday. Plus, I have four kids who need a mama.  I've had a few George Bailey moments when I wonder, "Why do we have to have all these kids?"  But look at them!

With February coming quickly, I wanted to let you know one of my projects was included in AllFreeSewing.com's Valentine's Ebook. If you're new around here, I came up with a really fun take on a Valentine's banner last year. You can read all about it in the ebook,
or you can see the tutorial here on the blog.

I love how the hearts are strung along the bias tape through button holes.  I thought it was pretty innovative.  I'm hoping to make a mini version for my wreath.  I promise if I get it done, I'll share a tutorial.

Thanks again for all the kind comments and encouragement I receive. When I feel a bit overwhelmed by it all, I appreciate hearing some happy thoughts.

p.s.  You'll never guess what we saw at the park yesterday...a lynx!  Yep, here's the proof:

Here's to hoping your weekend does not include close encounters with wildlife.

how cool yet terrifying at the same time. Aren't they endangered? I think they eat bunnies.....

I hear ya. this week has been a crazy weird one for me too. I am still sitting in projects and sometimes thinking "Why did I say I would do this?" Please someone remind me. But, here is to hoping to be soon done :) And then onto another project right? Good luck to you. That banner is DARLING! ALL capials. LOVE it. So simple and yet so stinkin cute.

How super cute; I love the banner! It looks like your little ones have had some fun! :) How exciting (and nerve-racking) to see a lynx! My little ones love living where we do because of all of the animals that we can see. I hope your weekend goes well!! :)

Wow!! A lynx!! What a thrill.

I totally understand overwhelmed. Turns out I am still overwhelmed this week.

But children are so worth it even when they tax us to our limits and make us wonder whether they will every grow up to be sane believing adults.

Hey the Lynx was our mascot in grade school...cool and seriously scary at the same time...the bunting is Adorable (with a capital A).

When you get a minute can you tell me what you know (if anything) about the Caldwell area?

And I totally understand the George Baily moments! :) Lately I've been thinking "and we're bringing another one into this mess?!" But like you said it's all worth it and they are such gifts. :)

ACK! Here kitty kitty. Although I say that jokingly. I would totally freak out seeing some cat like that anywhere near an area kids play in or my home!

There have been reports of cougars near my town over the past few years and it does freak me out a bit.
