Celebrate the Boy month with
Rae has been so fun. In light of all the boyish fun, I thought I better show these cute knees.
A while back, Little Boy put yet more holes in the knees of his jeans. I used her tutorial on
knee pads as a guide, and here is the result. I actually used scraps of cotton batting on these knees, and a neutral cotton fabric. They have been through the wash a bunch of times, and I love how they just keep going. Plus, this young man has taken to running and skidding down the hall on his knees. These are perfect!
He got a little shy about me taking pictures. I put him on the counter so he could help with our baking, and remembered I hadn't showed off how the pants turned out...and the result is this post. Hope you're enjoying your week.

Great idea - I am always complaining about patching my boys' jeans, but this way would make it something I look forward to!
