I never did show you how the dress I made for Big Sister came out.
I didn't think about how the dark brown fabric would show up on camera...so this is the best I could do!
The pattern is from Oliver + S, the Family Reunion Dress. I did add a few alterations, but as always, the pattern had great directions and tips to follow.
Here's the view of the back:
To lengthen the sleeves, I just continued the lines of the sleeve pattern to the length I wanted, and then I sewed a ruffle to finish the sleeves.
Did you notice the one big mistake I made? I reversed the pintucks in my hurry. Oops.
Here are my darling girls together. So glad they still like me sewing for them! The headband Dolly is wearing I made a few years ago...you can see the original post HERE.
I've been gearing up for Christmas sewing...what projects are you up to?

Love the fabric! Yeah like I would ever notice any mistakes, the sewer that I am not . I just noticed you changed your profile picture. Love it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I did not notice any pintuck mistakes, either. A very pretty dress indeed!

Cracking up at her turned around and smiling, funny! She is too sweet. We sure do know when we look cute ;)
