Valentines decor and a sneak peak

First off, I wanted to show off how the Valentines decor turned out.  For those new here, I shared my Valentines Pouches and Banner Wreath earlier this year.

A few years ago, I cut out several hearts out of vellum.  They've been taped to windows previously, this year they were turned into simple mobiles and hung from the chandelier and branches.  I used skinny pink grosgrain ribbon and my glue gun.

The lovey-dovey mantle (including my ruffled heart banner from last year):

One of the gifts my children found in their pouches were these simple stuffed hearts.

How's your week been? We've been battling viruses in our house. So, instead of working a lot at my sewing machine, I've been trying another project that's been on my list for literally years...yoyos.

With everyone feeling kinda punk, we'd hang out in the family room enjoying a favorite movie and the winter sunshine streaming through the windows.

Even when you're sick, you can still pose for pictures.  :)

Baby thinks that calculator is her cell phone.  She chats away on it.  I forget she only hears half of a conversation when we're on the phone...her version is pretty funny.

Here are some of my yoyos, ready for the next step.  They make great counting and color practice for a toddler, too.

Hopefully the coming week will bring healthier kids (and mom), and some more energy to get some things done.

Any fun projects you've been dreaming up?

Oh gosh I hope you all feel better soon! I bought one of those yoyo things but wasn't too successful. Can't wait to see what you're going to with yours.

But I tell what TOTALLY caught my eye: the plate on your mantelpiece. It's my perrrrrrfect, favourite and best colour ever!
