Funny things happen every day.
If we take the opportunity to see them, funny things happen every day...especially with little children around.
Can you imagine laying on a stair step, and sleeping?
Or the incredible mess strawberry soda can make?
The spiderman like capabilities of a five year old? Especially one who loves his superheroes?
Even in outtakes...they are cute!
I often have to remind myself to catch the magical in the everyday. Like watching giant snowflakes fall to the earth.
We have emotions to feel and experience, and sometimes control.
There are new experiences to try.
Here is hoping I never forget to find the miraculous in the everyday.
How do you keep your spiritual eyes open?

Fabulous post! I'm like you. I try to view the world through my children's eyes. My all-time favorite...Son#1 at 3yo looking up in the sky as the wind blew. When asked what he was doing, he replied, "I'm listening to the leaves kiss, Momma." ☺
Happy Monday!
Great post, Chris. It's so easy to forget just how wonderful the seemingly mundane little moments are. Thanks for the reminder :)
What a wonderful message and reminder this is to all adults. I love to see the children marvel over the things us adults take for granted. I work with children every day and the young children get excited each week when the garbage truck picks up the trash. The world is magical to a child.
Excellent reminder. So glad I started my day reading this.
(the superheros photo and the one on the step are so precious!).
Thanks for the reminder, Chris! How easy to forget and how important to remember. Hugs!
Lovely post! My friends keeps a stack of notecards in a kitchen drawer and she writes everything funny her kids say. I love that idea as well.
I love this post. Thankmyou so much for reminding me to stop and savor the moments!!
