But couldn't figure out how to make the cans safe -- covering up with a fabric insert is a great idea. The hooks were such a smart idea to splurge on, and I bet some scrappy/quilt style bags hanging from them, along with the awesome cans would be great.

My boyfriend and I are always losing our clothing accessories. I covered the sharp edges by gluing felt over them. The nicest part about lining the cans with fabric is that the holes are not visible at all.

Thanks for the question.chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16320267523897987719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-85386003827352613202010-09-04T09:26:20.885-06:002010-09-04T09:26:20.885-06:00How did you attach the hooks to these cuties? How did you attach the hooks to these cuties?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-59837979259833359562010-09-03T21:50:01.252-06:002010-09-03T21:50:01.252-06:00This is a darling idea! This is a darling idea!Alison @ Oopsey Daisyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07313320614125599031noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-86368435331591068112010-09-03T17:32:25.582-06:002010-09-03T17:32:25.582-06:00Super cool idea Chris!!Super cool idea Chris!!Kari Sweetenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00351815398811005833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-3694248997818323102010-09-03T13:00:37.386-06:002010-09-03T13:00:37.386-06:00Love that you even thought to do this - it's p...Love that you even thought to do this - it's practical AND pretty and I love that!Laurel @ Ducks in a Rowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03860986450641700046noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-89647186022734484842010-09-03T11:46:47.318-06:002010-09-03T11:46:47.318-06:00LOVE! I always thought those would last about a minute in my house. But this is great because you can cover up the sharp edges at the top of the can with fabric. And it's a perfect size for a pencil holder.
