It has never been serviced and I have never had any trouble with it that I could not figure out. I oil it occasionally and run it incessantly. My mom has a computerized Kenmore that I sew on when I visit her. I really like that one too. If I could, I would acquire a machine to do lovely machine quilting (such as a long arm). Other than that my machine serves me well.Sis-Ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16591077272658512118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-75772243578526715422011-07-06T02:45:29.275-06:002011-07-06T02:45:29.275-06:00Hi, I am just starting to learn sewing. It's so clean and simple. Have looked everywhere and can't find anything similar.Keelyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09816883990461834553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-26232974003685671232010-10-14T05:29:57.182-06:002010-10-14T05:29:57.182-06:00I'm so glad I found your site! If you need service you must go back to where you purchased it. I moved and now have to travel over one hundred miles! And I'm still under warranty.msmonacohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03993181707390646340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-9356335543712129512010-07-20T11:35:29.868-06:002010-07-20T11:35:29.868-06:00Great point, Sheila. The machine you pick is important...but as important are the needles, tension, and thread.chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16320267523897987719noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-12288089985724132432010-07-20T11:29:54.345-06:002010-07-20T11:29:54.345-06:00I'm really enjoying this series and like this ...I'm really enjoying this series and like this post. I do want to point out that if you are not able to spend $400, you can do just fine with one of the Brother or other machines from Wal-Mart for quite a long time. Or at least I did. Understanding thread tension and using sharp needles got me past a lot of the problems I thought were due to a cheap machine.Sheilahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02883096095980241281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7921180150891952150.post-72067287033543511002010-07-19T10:45:27.577-06:002010-07-19T10:45:27.577-06:00I bought a new machine a few years ago, but you ha...I bought a new machine a few years ago, but you have some great suggestions here.
