After dinner last Friday, my sweet husband loaded us all up in the van and whisked the family to a secret destination. We wound around the valley and up the foothills until we stopped here:
This is a bluff overlooking Boise and the greater Treasure Valley. Aren't the springy green foothills lovely?
What a treat to get a new perspective on our new home. It's sometimes hard to appreciate the beauty around us until we stop and look.
It was a perfect day. I looked around at the beauty below, and the beauty on these faces that I love and just felt happy.
I couldn't have picked a better way to finish a busy week.

ReplyDeleteI didn't know such a thing existed!
What interesting landscape. How were all those tight-knit little green hills formed? Is it glacial or something?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous family pictures by the way. It's nice to see them all together like that!
What a fun day. Glad to see the nice weather has arrived!

ReplyDelete@Marie in MichiganYes, it is Table Rock. I wasn't sure until I asked my hubs. We're still learning our way around here. :)
